Amador, Calif. - January 10, 2004 - Premier Power completes a 14.5kW solar installation for Easton/Terre Rouge Vineyards.

Easton/Terre Rouge is located in Amador County, Shenandoah Valley, has joined other prominient solar powered wineries installed by Premier Power such as Shafer and Sierra Vista Vineyards.

With 85 GE 165 watt solar panels atop the winery, Easton/Terre Rouge marvelled at the phenomenal decrease in their monthly electricity bill; from a $500 to $5 monthly bill.

"Instead of $500 electric bill, our first bill was $11.24", says Jane O'Riordan of Easton/Terre Rouge Vineyards. "The cost for this type of system is reasonable when you consider the rebates and tax advantages. We expect that the system will have paid for itself in 3 years.", concluded Jane.

Easton/Terre Rouge received approximately $44,000 in rebates and incentives to help pay for the 14.5kW system, which equated to over half of the system cost. Easton/Terre Rouge will enjoy over 25 years of peace of mind by not worrying about rising energy costs.
